Where is the owner’s manual?
We all know life didn't come with an owner’s manual. Instead it came with a lot of infuriating rules and contradictory expectations that rob us of joy and authenticity. They deserve to be challenged. Let me be a listening ear, without judgement, to help you understand and honor who you've become. Together, we can find new ways for you to own the life you have and create the life you want.
Some of the many tools we may use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, creativity, humor and common-sense problem-solving.
If any of this speaks to you, call or message me to schedule a no-cost, 15-minute consultation to explore what we can accomplish together.

Everyone deserves to get the help they need even if I can’t provide it.
If you are in crisis please call 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
I urge persons with suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, thoughts of harming others, psychosis, eating disorders or substance abuse to contact larger, multi-discipline clinics which have in-person access to doctors, therapists, social workers and emergency resources as these conditions are outside my scope of care.
I work exclusively via tele-health with adults 18 years and older located in Texas.

Fun facts about me:
I consider myself a culture straddler and enjoy working with other straddlers....
that is, folks who have a significant difference in identity or way of life from their family of origin. Think rural to urban, religious to areligious, blue-collar to college graduate, LGBTQ+, conservative to progressive views, first generation Americans and so on.
I love to laugh and help others find humor in surprising places.
I believe I have a right to determine my own life's meaning and direction. You do too.
I'm passionate about supporting educators and healthcare and mental health providers in recovering from burnout and moral injury. I have experience in multiple settings including hospitals, college mental health and senior care.
In my experience Viktor Frankl was right when he said "suffering ceases to be suffering at the moment it finds a meaning."
I’m fascinated by generational differences and enjoy exploring the strengths and challenges that come with each adult generation alive right now. My primary language is Gen-X-ese but I'm pretty fluent in Gen Z, Millennial and Baby Boomer.
I love travel, hiking, water, mountains, cats, friends and family and fantasizing about what part of my home I will remodel next.
